Engr. Redwan Ferdous, an AUST EEE graduate achieved the 3rd position at the international final of ‘World Robot Olympiad -2022 at Dortmund, Germany back in November 2022. It is the first ever physical participation of Bangladesh in this largest and prestigious global robotics competition. He was the team leader and mentor of the Bangladesh team. He was among the top 50 trainees among 4000+ participants for a state-sponsored 3 months training at Fujitsu,Japan in 2019, where he showed excellence to become among top5 participants and awardee of several considerable performances.

During his studentship in Aust, he was able to secure positions like Champion, Runners Up in different inter and intra university competitions in BUET, RUET, CUET and other prominent universities. Team led by him also became champion in Digital World-2017.

Engr. Redwan graduated from AUST, department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) in 2013. After that he had done his Masters in IT from Jahangirnagar University, MBA in Finance from Dhaka University and state-sponsored Post Graduate diploma in Leather technology- with all-through first class results. Besides, he is a PRINCE2 certified project manager and CSCM certified supply chain manager.He is the Country Representative for Bangladesh in International Robot Olympiad (IROC) and World Robot Olympiad (WRO). Moreover, he is an international judge of few global competitions including NASA affiliated Conrad Challenge. He has also the feather of becoming the speaker in the 1st ever TEDxAUST.

Mr. Redwan has a glorious 10+ years of career in different organizations and track records in the companies like Pi Labs, Walton Group, Aamra Group and lastly in Labaid Group- as Head of Electro-Mechanical Engineering of Labaid Cancer Hospital.  He is currently working as director of technical and business of FronTech Limited. His scope of work includes in design and development of the first ever development board called JRC Board and distribution of international educational & industrial robotics brands. He is consultant for EME design and setup for a few of the developer companies as well.

Mr. Redwan is engaged with different professional & social groups. He is currently Senior Member of the oldest professional group IEEE. He is also Life Member of Institute of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB), Dhaka Rifles Club and Gregorian Alumni Club.
